The history of Htay Paing Gems spans almost 3 decades as it has undergone transformations and expansions in the industry, to combat the changing circumstances of the industry. When it was founded in 1991, Htay Paing Gems served only as a supplier to the jewellry industry, as mining began in the mountains of Mogok. Htay Paing Gems began its new chapter in the industry as a boutique showcasing the lustrous gemstones was opened in 2014. Htay Paing Gems has never stopped growing, and to ensure that quality is not sacrificed to fulfil that growth, we personally monitor all levels of production as the rubies are mined, washed and polished, before they are cut and classified according to hue, colour and shine.
